Day 1: Arrival in Kigali Rwanda, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival in Rwanda, your driver guide will brief you about the details concerning your 3 days Rwanda gorilla safari and then take an approximately two hours drive to the North towards the Parc des National (Volcanoes National Park) located 80km away from Kigali. Just in case you reach Kigali early you will have yourself a city tour where you will be able to visit the National Museum or the Genocide memorial centre then have lunch and transfer to the park in the afternoon.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes, Twin Lakes Visit / Community Walk
Your second day of the 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari will start with an early delicious breakfast as you get prepared for the long day gorilla trekking activity. After breakfast, your guide will take you to the headquarters of the park and by 8 am, you will be briefed about the whole gorilla trekking experience and later on embark on the amazing adventure through the jungle, in most cases this activity requires some physical fitness by the hikers. Occasionally, it takes between 30 Minutes to 6 hours to find the gorilla group assigned and on meeting them, trekkers are allowed a maximum of 1 hour to be with the gorillas. It is really a nice experience seeing them play, guard each other, feed among others. You will after the interaction with the gorillas start a hike taking you back to the park headquarters. Along the way, expect to see other animals like the golden monkeys, elephants, buffaloes as well as birds in the misty volcanoes national park.
After receiving your gorilla trekking certificate, the driver will escort you back to the lodge for a tasty lunch dish and later in the afternoon, you will have a chance to opt for a visit to the twin lakes; Burera and Ruhondo or take a community walk and engage in cultural and traditional performances and dances of the locals before retiring to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali, Airport/Hotel Drop-off
Raise up early enough to have a morning breakfast before you check out from the lodge. Your driver guide will transfer you to Kigali city where you will have a short time shopping from local markets where you will have a chance to buy souvenirs. Just in case you are still on time, you could also visit the pottery project and the Kigali Potter Collections Center. Enjoy lunch and transfer to the airport as you will be heading home.
